Crazy Heat!

Today continued the heat wave, but we are getting stuff done. We completed the drill for the ballad which brings us up to page 52. The goal tomorrow is to set about 8 more pages. The interlude should set quickly as the winds don't play too much. It is basically a percussion feature based on the Rite of Spring. Everybody that has seen and heard the band has been pretty impressed so far but if we are going to be a factor this year, we must press forward to get better. I do feel like the band coming together as a group. Just think if we can get this much done in 100+ degree weather, what can we do when October comes around?
