A Crazy Day

Today was strange. Lots of rumors floating around the old campus today. Just for some clarification, we are not regulated by the high school league in reference to the attendance policy of sports. We are not a sport and we are not extracurricular. We are co-curricular.

Tomorrow is the day we have worked for along time. We began rehearsals 12 weeks ago to the day. Perfection has been our goal all along. Tomorrow we get to chase after it on an even playing field with the rest of AA lower state. That's the thing about lower state competition, you usually get what you deserve. We need a nice controlled run with perfection being in the back of our minds as the goal. I will again post one of my favorite quotes to perhaps give some insight to how I feel:

Don't worry mr. brady. I have a feeling today, if everyone can concentrate, we will do very well. I know that we can do it.

CONGRATULATIONS MR. BRADY, AND THE SHS BAND! YOU ALL DID THE BEST SATURDAY NIGHT! MR. BRADY ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK, AND SOME DISAPPOINTMENT HAS HELPED THESE KIDS REALIZE THAT YOU DO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING,AND THEY CAN WIN. I HOPE YOU PLAN TO STAY AROUND SHS FOR A LONG TIME, BECAUSE IT'S TEACHERS LIKE YOU WHO CARE THAT THE KIDS PERFORM TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY, NOT JUST MEDIOCRE. I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY YOU CONDUCT THE KIDS TO PUSH THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF "JUST GETTING BY". DON'T LET UP THE PRESSURE THIS WEEK, GIVE'EM THAT EXTRA PUSH NOT TO SLACK OFF, TO GO FOR THE 2006 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.
