Hard Times

These are the hard days of rehearsal. Lots of reps and not much apparent improvement. Just remember when you feel like you are not getting anywhere and you just feel like giving up...That is when you are about to get really good! The problem is that this is when most people give up. But this is good for the people that keep pushing. They are about to find the success they crave. We are working really hard and even getting along well with each other. This is the time of the year that some bands have trouble and everybody is getting on each others nerves. This may be going on in my band, but I haven't seen it and it has yet to affect us. For that I am thankful. We must keep pushing through the hard times to get what we want most. I am glad the kids have a three day weekend. They seem a little tired. Hopefully, they will rest up and be ready to go for lower state. Remember the good bands have won their contests already and are content. The great bands are just about to start their real competitive season.
