A Busy Day

It seemed like we worked really hard today at rehearsal but I can't really say that we got too much accomplished. It was what I call an average rehearsal. We made strides but never really pushed too hard. Sometimes when you feel like you are working really hard and nothing is happening is actually when you are really getting better. So I will take today's rehearsal over the alternative of a bad one. I guess I just wish we have gotten a few more pages of drill on the field too. Only 5 more afterschool rehearsals until the first scheduled competition. I know some of the students thought I was crazy to say that maybe we should stay home and practice on the 22nd but I was being truthful. I really don't think that coming in second or third is a very way to start the season but hey look at what happened last year. The truth is that if they would just try really hard and do what the staff is asking them, they probably would not have to worry about what place they would come it...they would know before they ever stepped on the field.
