Mid Season Report

We are about midway through our competition season. We have been to two contests and have scored above 90 at both. We were third in prelims and then moved up to second at our first competition at Batesburg-Leesville and then second in class AAA at White Knoll. We are in a position to really get things together and shine over the next 4 weeks. This weekend we will travel to York, SC to compete in a USSBA event. I am curious about this event as it is another national level circuit for us to see how we compare in their system. All we really need to make a big move at state is some confidence and refinement. No major changes in our drill or music are needed. We just have to do what we do better. Perfection must be the goal at both the group level and, more importantly, the individual level.

We have a chance to surprise everybody this year. We just have to do what is necessary of all of us.

"Winning is not a sometime thing. It is an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing." - Vince Lombardi
