A Successful Day

I would call today a complete success. This is what it is all about. I went to work this morning at 7:00 a.m. and I just got home but I think it was worth it. Why do we work so hard? Well I wasn't nervous about our performance tonight and I don't think many of the students were either. That is why I rehearse the band like I do. Let's stay ahead now! Today it seemed like everything in Swansea was all about the band. I loved to see everybody working so hard for one common goal...the success of a band. We have much work left for sure but I think we are all up to the task at this point. It is not everywhere that people will fill up a football stadium on a Saturday night and there is no football game, just a band. This is not just any band. This the culmination of three years of work by many, many people. I don't know if this is our year to win it all but I do know that I will give everything I have to at least give us a chance.
